The Job: As a Field Service Technician here, you’ll be part of our Troy, Michigan team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: Make field service calls both local and out of state at times with little advance notice and in rare cases for extended periods of time. Integration support which includes teaching, adjustment, calibration, and diagnosing issues related to the system. Commissioning of systems at customer location. You may be commissioning many systems in various sections of a plant. In some cases, this may require extensive walking or standing for periods of time. You are required to attend all kick-off meetings asked by our customers or integrators. Final buy-off of installation. Using an installation buy-off guide you are responsible for completing the final buy-off and document any open issues and or exceptions related to the cell equipment. Assures that all equipment at assigned customer plants operates at maximum target reliability levels (99.998%) Diagnoses and repairs equipment to component level using various test equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, multi-meter, chart recorder, etc.).
