ALTIX-MGI , a French based company, designs, manufactures, markets and services Direct Imaging, UV exposure and Solder Mask Inkjet equipment for the electronic industry: Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Flexible Circuits, IC Substrate & Advanced Packaging, Metal Etching, Lead Frames, etc. The equipment reaches multiple areas of competencies such as electrical, mechanical, software, optical and lighting. Its subsidiaries in US, Altix North America, focalizes in sales and service equipment in North America and it is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The successful applicant will be responsible of servicing the equipment in our customer field in North America (US & Canada) with a potential to manage, in medium term, a service team. Role Description This is a full-time position for a Field Services Engineer . The primary responsibilities include performing on-site equipment installations, conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and efficiently providing technical support. The role also requires maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction and optimal system performance. Qualifications Strong expertise in Field Service and Performing Preventive Maintenance tasks PLC knowledge with Beckhoff systems and the ability to write code Proficiency in Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues Experience providing Technical Support and resolving system-related concerns Excellent Customer Service skills to build and maintain positive client relationships Ability to travel on-site as needed and work independently Technical or engineering background; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Hands-on experience with industrial or technical equipment is an advantage Benefits 401K Health insurance Paid time off Safety equipment provided
