OPPORTUNITY The Finance Manager, collaborating closely with the Director of Finance, has the opportunity to shape and make possible the achievement of our long-term vision. To realize the envisioned impact on reform, we must successfully create and execute our financial strategy as well as manage our day-to-day finances. The Finance Manager will help create a pathway to sustainability by working with operations, grant managers, and schools to improve processes and tools to produce actionable, timely and accurate financial statements and analysis. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES > Develop a deep understanding of the organizations funding models, state and federal education funding sources, key expense drivers, and optimization opportunities. > With the Director of Finance, oversee financial strategy, planning, and analysis, including. > Oversees and guides the budgeting process for schools and the Home Office. Works with department heads and senior management to ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals. Enhances budgeting tools and identifies process improvements. > Manages grant budgets and funding projections. Assists in preparing grant proposals and ensures compliance with funding guidelines.
