Summary/Objective We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team.Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process parts invoices in an accurate and timely manner.Entry and maintenance of customer information in the accounting customer master file.Maintain AR aging reports and perform collection on overdue customer accounts.Process intercompany invoices and work with colleagues to resolve any receipt/invoice discrepancies.Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.Assist with preparing documents for the annual audit.Competencies Financial Management Technical Capacity Ethical Conduct Thoroughness Communication Proficiency Supervisory Responsibility The Financial Accountant has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment This job operates in a clerical office setting.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday in coordination with our company core hours as noted in our Employee Handbook.Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Travel No travel is expected for this position.Required Education and Experience Associate's degree in accounting or finance plus 1-3 years Accounting and/or Audit experience Preferred Education and Experience 1.Bachelor's degree in accounting plus 1 to 3 years Accounting and/or Audit experience.2.SAP experience a plus 3.Intercompany experience a plus Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Pay:$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Professional development assistance Referral program Vision insurance Education:Associate (Required) Experience:SAP:3 years (Preferred) Accounting:3 years (Required) Audit:3 years (Required) Work Location:In person.
