Financial Advisor The Wealth Alliance is an SEC-registered investment advisory firm based in Melville, New York. WA was founded in 2019 and currently employs over 30 professionals, including Certified Financial Planners, public accountants, investment management analysts, and a top-tier team of service professionals. The Wealth Alliance is looking for a seasoned Financial Advisor who shares their values and is ready to hit the ground running. You'll serve as the primary relationship manager for a select group of clients, delivering holistic financial advice while also contributing to the firm's continued growth. This is an in-person role based in Melville, NY. Whether you're coming in with a small existing book or none at all, your focus will be on deepening relationships and delivering exceptional service across the firm's established client base. Responsibilities Serve as the primary relationship manager for a select group of clients, developing a deep understanding of their values, goals, and priorities. Develop and implement personalized financial plans tailored to each client's individual needs and objectives. Deliver holistic financial advice across investments, retirement planning, estate considerations, tax strategies, and risk management. Engage clients in clear, thoughtful conversations that simplify complex financial concepts into actionable strategies. Proactively reach out to clients to provide guidance, reassurance, and timely updates through different life stages and market environments. Conduct a thorough financial analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk. Collaborate with internal specialists to create comprehensive, tailored financial plans. Utilize financial software to track client progress and generate reports. Stay current on financial services trends, tax regulations, and securities law. Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, or similar client-facing role at an RIA or wealth management firm. 3+ years developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth clients. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (required); Master's degree a plus. CFP, CFA, CPA, or similar professional designation strongly preferred. Solid background in financial sales or a related advisory field. Deep knowledge of estate planning, tax strategy, and wills & trusts. Expertise in wealth management, investment management, cash management, and portfolio management. Familiarity with accounting principles and CRM platforms. Strong research, analytical, and mathematical skills. Existing book of business a plus, but not required.
