Join us on our mission to shape the future of our industry. Cohesity is looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Product/R&D Finance team. This role is responsible for providing strategic financial ownership, oversight and analytics to the company’s supply chain and logistics teams. The role partners closely with our operations leadership and cross-functional partners to drive topline growth, investment decision support and long-term financial strategy. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Product Finance. HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE: Serve as a trusted finance business partner to supply chain and support logistics organizations with controllership responsibilities of COGS/margin and operating expenses Lead bottoms-up financial forecasting and planning for supply chain & support logistics organizations, including coordination with Corporate FP&A on target-setting and gap analysis Integrate S&OP demand signals and known backlog data into forward-looking HW shipment forecasts, coordinating with supply chain team to align financial plans with operational realities Support month/quarter end close activities and reporting processes, with a strong focus on business variance analysis readouts to senior leadership Partner with product managers on understanding portfolio strategy and support growth initiatives through investment evaluation, financial model building, and business case preparation Build automated reporting and agentic AI solutions using approved AI tools (Claude, Copilot) and partner with the business to meet their financial reporting needs Build strong cross functional relationships and drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING: Experience supporting a hardware business, including COGS analysis Advanced Excel and financial planning skills; familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Adaptive Insights, and NetSuite a plus Experience using AI tools (Claude, Copilot) to automate workflows and reduce bottlenecks Strong business acumen with accounting/finance background Advanced financial modeling skills; ability to translate ambiguous problems into actionable analyses Curious self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems independently Strong critical thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to explain financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail with a track record of meeting firm deadlines Embodies Cohesity's core values: integrity, respect, deliver, positive attitude, and customer obsession Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making YOUR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or equivalent degree a plus. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a high growth technology company Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time. Pay Range $126,000.00-$140,000.
