Job#: 3035255 Job Description: Financial Risk Analyst Location: Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 months Role Overview This position is for a second shift Level 2 MAPS Finance Risk Analyst for all Markets Lines of Business. The role requires working in a high-pressure trading environment, assimilating information from multiple sources, and adhering to strict procedures for incident, service request, and change management. The ideal candidate will be a proficient problem-solver with a strong sense of motivation and adaptable communication skills to coordinate restoration efforts for high-impact technology incidents. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for business requests and reported impacts. Monitor and alert critical trading system environments. Implement releases and conduct post-release testing. Build and maintain partnerships with business stakeholders, application development, and infrastructure contacts. Troubleshoot complex systems issues. Proactively identify and resolve problem hotspots. Develop tools and drive efficiency and stability improvements. Lead daily technical change meetings and manage global resources through the change process. Required Qualifications Technical Skills: Operating Systems: Solaris, Linux, Windows. Scripting Languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python. Database: Intermediate SQL (multi-table joins, grouping results). Understanding of infrastructure disciplines such as network, server, storage, and messaging. Experience with grid computing, batch management, and ITRS Enterprise monitoring. Proficiency with report generation and analysis tools like Tableau and MS Office. Experience: Experience in a support role for traders in a high-pressure environment. Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with Incident, Problem, and Release management. Adherence to written procedures and policies for Change Management. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $68.26 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
