Client-Facing Financial Services Role Location: Freeland, MI (In-Person) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm 80k base plus commission About the Role We’re hiring a Service Advisor on behalf of our client—a growing financial services firm based in Michigan. This is a highly client-facing role responsible for delivering proactive, white-glove service to existing client households. The Service Advisor serves as the primary relationship point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring financial plans are implemented accurately, service needs are addressed promptly, and relationships remain strong over time. This role partners closely with Financial Advisors, Operations, Insurance, and Client Experience teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, managing details, and helping individuals and families move forward with confidence in their financial plans. Mcintosh - Service Advisor Key Responsibilities: Client Service & Relationship Management (Client-Facing) Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client households Conduct regular client service calls, check-ins, and review meetings Respond to client questions and service requests professionally and promptly Ensure clients understand next steps in their financial plan Monitor accounts and identify opportunities for deeper planning conversations Support and occasionally help lead client events, seminars, and webinars Financial Plan Implementation Implement Financial Advisor recommendations accurately and on time Coordinate paperwork, applications, transfers, and follow-ups Track planning action items and ensure completion Educate clients on firm services, planning processes, and expectations Team & Cross-Department Collaboration Partner closely with Financial Advisors to ensure a seamless client experience Coordinate with the Insurance team on product implementation Work with Client Experience and Operations teams on outreach and events Contribute to firm-wide holistic planning initiatives CRM & Pipeline Management Maintain accurate CRM records for all client interactions Track follow-up cadence and service milestones Support reporting through consistent and timely data entry What Success Looks Like High retention rate for assigned client households Clients feel supported, informed, and cared for Planning recommendations are implemented correctly and on time CRM data is complete, accurate, and up to date Strong collaboration with advisors and internal teams Identification of cross-referral and planning opportunities Positive contribution to firm culture and overall client experience Licensing Requirement Maintain an active insurance license to support planning implementation and collaboration with the insurance team Growth & Career Development Growth opportunities may include Advancement to higher client service tiers Specialization in tax strategies, legacy planning, or advanced casework Leadership and mentoring opportunities Increased visibility through firm initiatives, events, and community engagement Culture & Expectations We hire and grow team members based on core attributes including integrity, coachability, ownership, consistency, and a growth mindset.
