We are seeking a Social Media Copywriter to translate market insights into high-performing, platform-native content. This role supports Nicholas Crown, one of the largest social media voices in finance, reaching nearly 4 million followers per week across platforms. The role centers on taking structured research from our macro team and turning it into clear, compelling short-form video scripts, on-screen titles, and captions optimized for distribution across short-form video, X (Twitter), and other written formats. This is not generic content writing. The focus is on packaging ideas: identifying the most interesting angle, crafting strong hooks, and delivering concise, high-signal messaging that captures attention and drives engagement at scale. The ideal candidate can move quickly, think in formats, and consistently turn complex financial concepts into content that feels intuitive, sharp, and worth consuming. Core Responsibilities Write high-volume short-form video scripts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X) Develop hooks, titles, and captions optimized for engagement and retention Translate analyst research into structured, narrative-driven content Produce longer-form written content including articles, email content, Twitter threads, and more Identify the most compelling angle within a given piece of research Simplify complex financial and macro concepts without losing accuracy Adapt messaging across formats and platforms while maintaining clarity and tone Continuously iterate on content based on performance and feedback Collaborate closely with analysts and editors to refine ideas and positioning Maintain a consistent voice aligned with a financially sophisticated audience Experience Background in social media copywriting, ideally within finance, investing, or macro content Demonstrated experience writing high-performing content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X Familiarity with financial markets strongly preferred Experience writing for large audiences or high-growth media brands is a strong plus Portfolio of past work showing ability to write hooks, scripts, and threads that perform Skills Strong instinct for hooks, framing, and audience psychology Ability to turn dense ideas into clear, engaging narratives High output without sacrificing clarity or quality Deep understanding of short-form content structure and pacing Platform-native thinking (what works on X vs. TikTok vs. YouTube) Ability to maintain precision when simplifying complex topics Fast iteration and responsiveness to feedback and performance data Strong writing fundamentals: clarity, brevity, structure Comfortable working in a real-time, high-output content environment Independent thinking with a bias toward sharp, differentiated perspectives Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
