Job Summary Peterson’s Steakhouse is seeking professional and service-driven individuals to join our fine dining team as a Fine Dining Server. In this role, you will help create memorable dining experiences by delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in an elegant steakhouse environment. Our servers are passionate about hospitality, possess strong menu and wine knowledge, and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating an exceptional first impression upon arrival Present menus with confidence, describing menu items, chef features, and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems while communicating clearly with the kitchen and bar team Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service throughout the dining experience Upsell menu items, wines, and cocktails in a natural and professional manner to elevate the guest experience Deliver food and beverages with proper timing, presentation, and attention to detail Maintain table service standards including clearing, resetting, and maintaining a polished dining room environment Handle payments and transactions accurately through the POS system Collaborate closely with management, kitchen staff, and fellow service team members to ensure smooth service Address guest questions, special requests, and concerns promptly and professionally Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment Qualifications Minimum 2 years of serving experience preferred, ideally in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment Strong guest service skills with a professional, positive, and polished demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-expectation dining environment Strong communication and multitasking skills during busy service periods Knowledge of food, wine, and classic steakhouse service standards is preferred Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus Basic math and cash-handling skills for processing guest payments Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment About Peterson’s Steakhouse Peterson’s Steakhouse is known for its commitment to exceptional steaks, fresh seafood, an award-winning wine program, and impeccable hospitality.
