FINE GARDENING CREW MEMBER OR FOREMAN

Downer Brothers Landscaping is hiring Fine Gardeners to join our growing Horticulture Team.This position focuses on detailed garden care for high-quality residential properties, helping maintain and enhance beautiful landscapes throughout the season.You'll work hands-on with plants every day while developing professional horticulture skills in pruning, plant health care, and fine garden maintenance.What You'll Do Perform detailed garden maintenance including weeding, deadheading, and pruning Care for perennials, shrubs, and ornamental trees Install seasonal plantings, bulbs, and container displays Divide and transplant perennials Assist with small garden enhancement projects Monitor plant health and communicate site observations Work efficiently as part of a professional horticulture crew Maintain safe and clean work practices Positions Available Crew Leaders / Foremen 3years fine gardening or horticulture experience preferred Strong pruning and plant identification skills Ability to lead crews and communicate clearly Experience with handheld landscape equipment Crew Members Passion for gardening and outdoor work Willingness to learn professional horticulture practices Positive attitude and strong work ethic Experience helpful but not required -- training provided Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Requirements Valid Massachusetts driver's license required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical work including lifting and bending Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits:Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Experience:Fine Gardening:1 year (Required) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Work Location:In person.
