JOB Do you have an interest in building layouts or safety applications? If so, this opening may be a good fit for you. The Plans Review Division of the WV State Fire Marshal’s Office is looking for a few dedicated people to join our staff. At an entry level and under close supervision, the chosen applicant will review architectural drawings and specifications, fire alarm plans, sprinkler plans, and fire protection plans for compliance with State Fire Code. This position will also answer code questions by phone and some limited travel may be necessary. Knowledge of computers is a must as well as a willingness to work with the public. May perform other job-related duties as assigned by Fire Safety Plans Supervisor and Division Director.
