EAMC MISSION At East Alabama Medical Center, our mission is high quality, compassionate health care, and that statement guides everything we do.We set high standards for customer service, quality, and keeping costs under control.POSITION SUMMARY The First Responder performs pre-hospital care in a holistic systematic way, produces quality patient care with optimal patient outcomes.Utilizes State of Alabama Protocols to deliver quality patient care.Incorporates data and information to improve patient care.Performs a comprehensive patient assessment by interpreting multiple, at times conflicting data, and proceeding to give patient care based on findings.Documents patient care activities and relays pertinent patient information to those who have a need to know.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification BLS within 90 days Drivers License Preferred Education Associates Degree Preferred Experience N/A Preferred Registration/License/Certification EVOC EMR Certification Other Requirements N/A Location:EAMC ETS AU EVENTS Schedule:PER DIEM, Varied Shifts.
