Fishing Specialist

Joining our Fishing team will allow you to partake in in-field training opportunities, equipment sign-out programs, pro-deals, and more! On the job training, competitive pay, a set schedule week to week, and advancement opportunities are available! Walk-in/on-the-spot interviews are available daily 9:30am-6pm at our retail location. Application Requirements & Essential Functions for Fishing Specialists: Fishing Specialists must be a customer service-oriented team player and have the ability to pay close attention to detail Experience/knowledge with basic fishing related tools is preferred but not required Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner Must have the ability to stay current with industry product advances as a Fishing Specialist Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays per business needs Fishing Specialists must be at least eighteen years of age or older and be able to pass a standard background check General Summary: As a Fishing Specialist, you will be expected to assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions. Your training will allow you to help select, size, and outfit customers to an array of specialized equipment for their outdoor adventure needs. You’ll restock merchandise to ensure the department is organized, shoppable, and full. You will also perform other duties as the Fishing Specialist assigned by management. You, a Fishing Specialist, reports directly to the department’s management team and does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Qualified candidates must be available to work a minimum of Saturdays or Sundays 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm (additional shifts are available) on a consistent basis week to week.
