As a Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across regional routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Operate flatbed truck safely and efficiently, securing loads properly and inspecting equipment regularly. Plan routes and adhere to schedules to meet delivery deadlines. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, miles driven, and cargo manifests. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status. Adhere to all federal and state transportation laws and safety standards. Ideal candidates possess strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. A valid CDL-A license, clean driving record, and the ability to handle physical demands are essential.
