Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Fleet Supervisor to oversee the daily readiness, maintenance, safety, and performance of our delivery fleet. This position plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by managing vehicle upkeep, coordinating repairs, maintaining Samsara systems, and supporting driver safety initiatives. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, proactive, organized, and comfortable working in both office and field environments. This role requires someone who can troubleshoot issues quickly, communicate effectively with drivers and vendors, and take ownership of fleet operations. ResponsibilitiesFleet Operations Ensure all vehicles are operational and route-ready daily Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs Respond to vehicle breakdowns and roadside situations as needed Work directly with vendors and repair shops to ensure timely service Monitor vehicle downtime and identify recurring issues Samsara & Fleet Technology Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Samsara dash cameras and telematics systems Handle camera/device replacements and basic wiring installations Monitor Samsara reporting and support driver coaching initiatives Assist with safety reviews and incident investigations using Samsara data Fuel Management Maintain fuel reporting and monitor fuel usage trends Manage fuel key fobs/cards and vehicle assignments Review fuel transactions for discrepancies or misuse Coordinate with fuel vendors regarding account or billing issues Safety & Compliance Maintain DOT compliance and vehicle inspection records Support safety audits and compliance initiatives Assist with driver orientations and ongoing safety training Reinforce proper pre- and post-trip inspection procedures Additional Support Maintain accurate maintenance and operational records Support daily operational needs as required Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Director of Operations and Operations Risk Manager Qualifications 3–5+ years of fleet, mechanical, or transportation experience preferred Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with Samsara or similar telematics systems preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety standards Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Valid Class A CDL required Clean driving record preferred Working Conditions Combination of office, yard, and field work Active role involving walking, lifting, and working around vehicles/equipment Requires flexibility to address time-sensitive operational issues Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
