In this dynamic role, you will oversee the entire fleet of company vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance.Your proactive management will keep our transportation operations smooth, efficient, and aligned with company goals.Join us to lead a dedicated team, implement innovative fleet solutions, and contribute to our commitment to sustainability and safety.Responsibilities Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and maintenance planning to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime Monitor vehicle performance through telematics systems and conduct regular inspections to ensure safety standards are met Manage procurement, licensing, registration, and insurance processes for all fleet vehicles Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures that promote safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness Lead a team of drivers and maintenance staff by providing training, support, and performance feedback Track fleet expenses meticulously, prepare reports on vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, parts supply, and service contracts to maintain fleet reliability Requirements Proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety standards Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Strong leadership abilities to motivate and develop team members effectively Knowledge of telematics systems, GPS tracking tools, and fleet management software Ability to analyze data for decision-making and process improvement opportunities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in fleet or transportation management are a plus.CDL is preferred but not a deal breaker.Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position Embark on a rewarding career where your strategic vision drives operational success!
