Fleet Trailer Mechanic Company: Progress Pallet Location: Middleboro Ma Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00PM Job Summary Progress Pallet is seeking a dependable and experienced Fleet Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trailers to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, values safety, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on dry vans, flatbeds, and trailers Diagnose and repair air brake systems, suspension systems, lights, wiring, tires, and trailer components Conduct trailer inspections to ensure DOT compliance Repair floors, doors, roofs, and structural trailer damage as needed Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and regulations Work efficiently to minimize equipment downtime Qualifications Minimum 2 years of trailer mechanic experience preferred Knowledge of trailer repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and welding Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools safely Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available Health benefits Paid time off Stable, year-round work Growth opportunities within the company Apply Today Join the team at Progress Pallet and help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
