Flexographic Press Operator Location: Sturgis, MI - Onsite Our client is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to join their production team in an onsite manufacturing environment. Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00/hour, based on experience 401k + company matching Health and Dental Insurance Paid Time Off A Day in the Life of the Flexographic Press Operator In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating a multi-unit, web-fed flexographic printing press while ensuring top-tier product quality and efficiency. You’ll work hands-on with machinery, interpret job specifications, and play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality printed materials that meet production standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities include: Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing press equipment Monitor machine performance to ensure efficiency and quality output Review job specifications including roll diameter, stock numbers, and labeling instructions Configure line equipment such as slitting shafts, arbors, and carton sealers Interpret work orders and follow supervisor instructions Perform quality control checks on finished rolls (cut quality, alignment, diameter, fit) Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as needed 2nd shift position: Monday-Thursday (4pm-2am) 10 hours a day, overtime available on Friday Initial Training will take place during 1st shift Monday-Thursday (6am-4pm) 10 hours a day, overtime available on Friday Requirements and Qualifications: 2+ years of flexographic printing experience Experience operating a Mark Andy press Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read, interpret instructions, and follow job specifications Proficiency with fractions and basic math calculations Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Available to work second shift, Sunday–Wednesday, 4 PM–2 AM, with occasional Friday overtime About the Hiring Company: Our client is a manufacturing company specializing in high-quality printing solutions.
