The Level 1 Hydro Operator is an entry-level position responsible for supporting and performing basic operational tasks related to hydrostatic testing in pipe production. This role is part of a structured on-the-job training program focused on skill acquisition and safe operations. The purpose of this position is to operate or support the operation of production equipment and perform processes related to manufacturing flexible pipe and develop fundamental skills necessary for safe and effective hydrostatic testing operations in pipe production. Hydro Operators participate in a structured on-the-job training program to develop basic skills through the completion of competency modules and hands-on training. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual in this position must use initiative and judgment arranging job details to achieve predetermined objectives.
