Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center Location: US:PA:Enola Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Shift: Varied Hours: 12-hour shifts; 7:00p - 7:00a & 7:00a - 7:00p P enn State Health Hampden Medical Center brings acute inpatient medical services to communities in Cumberland, Perry, and York counties. The facility, features 108 private inpatient beds and an attached outpatient medical office building. H ampden security officers will work 12-hour shifts; 7A -7P & 7P - 7A. Will work 7 days in a two-week pay period. Every other weekend will be a 3-day weekend. Will rotate between night shift and day shift every two months. J OB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Security, the Security Officer is responsible to patrol all assigned areas of the facility. The Officer must respond to all calls/Emergency codes immediately, following protocol that has been established in existing policy. The O fficer must enforce facility rules and regulations as directed. Officers will do investigations and inform managers of results. The Security Officers will also inform the Director of safety issues and ensure the functioning of radios, vehicles and Life Safety E quipment. Security Officers will also assist our customers and other duties as assigned. M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: H igh School Diploma or GED required. V alid Pennsylvania state driver's license is required P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: G raduate of police academy or security course preferred. A minimum of six (6) months police or security experience preferred.
