Salida Mountain Sports is a specialty outdoor retailer located in the heart of the Rockies in Salida, Colorado.We serve a passionate community of backcountry skiers, splitboarders, hikers, bikers, and mountain athletes.Our goal is simple:provide great gear, honest advice, and a welcoming shop for locals and visitors alike.We're looking for another floor sales associate to join our crew and help deliver an awesome customer experience.What You'll Do Help customers find the right gear for their adventures Provide knowledgeable recommendations on skis, splitboards, apparel, and outdoor gear like backpacks, tents and sleeping bags Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor Assist with merchandising and restocking Help support demo program and shop events Work collaboratively with a small, passionate team Requirements Previous retail sales experience Experience with skiing or snowboarding Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude Ability to work weekends and holidays during busy seasons Preferred (but not required) Experience with ski or snowboard tech work Basic boot fitting experience Knowledge of backcountry or touring equipment Passion for mountain sports and the outdoor community Why Work Here Work in a fun, community-focused mountain shop Employee discounts on great gear Be part of a passionate outdoor crew Opportunity to grow your knowledge of skis, boards, and gear Schedule Part-time or full-time depending on availability.Pay:From $21.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
