Job Summary:As a Forklift Operator on the 2nd shift, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and transportation of materials within our client's warehouse and distribution facility.Your attention to detail and expertise in operating sit-down forklifts will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of operations.Key Responsibilities:Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload a variety of materials and products Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to the appropriate locations Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the assigned forklift equipment Adhere to all company policies and procedures to support the overall efficiency of the operation Qualifications:Demonstrated experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude Working Conditions:This position requires working the 2nd shift, typically from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, in a warehouse environment.The work involves standing, walking, and the physical operation of forklift equipment.Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a temperature-controlled facility.Compensation and Benefits:The hourly pay rate for this Forklift Operator position ranges from $15-16 per hour, depending on experience.The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance #lag.
