Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our environmental services team at Careview Health and Rehab.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces across the facility.This role requires a strong focus on floor care, including carpet cleaning, buffing, and general janitorial duties.The Floor Technician plays a vital part in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and professional environment for staff and visitors alike.Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.Conduct carpet cleaning and stain removal to maintain a pristine appearance.Buff and polish floors to restore shine and protect surfaces.Utilize specialized equipment for floor care, including buffers, extractors, and scrubbers.Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces through janitorial and custodial tasks.Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage.Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in environmental services or commercial cleaning environments.Experience with floor care techniques including buffing, carpet cleaning, and use of cleaning machinery is highly desirable.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is beneficial.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of professional spaces while developing expertise in specialized floor care techniques.We value reliable team members who take pride in their work and uphold our standards for cleanliness and safety.Pay:$17.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Referral program Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
