Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our dynamic environmental services team.In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our commercial facilities.Your expertise in floor care and janitorial tasks will ensure a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and productivity for all occupants.This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a professional setting where quality and attention to detail are highly valued.Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various flooring surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning to maintain a spotless environment.Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and sealing floors to enhance durability and appearance.Execute carpet cleaning tasks utilizing appropriate equipment and solutions to remove stains and maintain freshness.Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, offices, and hallways through regular janitorial practices.Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities, ensuring the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.Monitor and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment.Assist with environmental services projects as needed to support facility operations and uphold sanitation standards.Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on floor care is preferred.Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, sealing, and general janitorial practices.Ability to operate various floor care equipment such as buffers, extractors, vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Previous experience in environmental services or janitorial roles is advantageous.Join us in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments!
