Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Floral Designer and Customer Service Specialist, where your creativity blossoms and your passion for exceptional customer experiences shines! Duties Design and assemble beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality standards and customer preferences are met. Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products, offering expert advice on floral design, gardening, and horticulture. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, processing sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, and handling cash with care. Maintain organized stock levels by stocking flowers, plants, floral supplies, and merchandising displays to ensure an inviting shopping experience. Support store operations through cashiering duties, retail math calculations, and inventory management to optimize sales performance. Engage with customers in multiple languages if applicable to enhance communication and inclusivity within the community. Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the floral department and retail space to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Strong interest or experience in floral design, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively. Previous retail experience including POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, or merchandising is advantageous. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels and maintain displays attractively. Knowledge of retail math for sales transactions and inventory control. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods while maintaining a lively and positive attitude.
