Job SummaryJoin our vibrant team as a Florist/Cashier, where you will bring beauty and joy to our customers through expertly crafted floral arrangements and exceptional retail service.This dynamic role combines creative floral design with friendly customer interactions, ensuring each visitor leaves with a smile.You will be responsible for creating stunning floral displays, managing sales transactions, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.Your enthusiasm for gardening, horticulture, and floral artistry will help us deliver memorable experiences and elevate our store's ambiance.Responsibilities Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer preferences and seasonal themes, utilizing your floral design expertise.Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products, offering knowledgeable recommendations on floral care and gardening tips.Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions, handle cash and card payments, and manage cash handling procedures securely.Maintain well-stocked shelves by organizing merchandise, replenishing floral supplies, and ensuring attractive displays through effective merchandising.Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming shopping environment.Manage inventory levels through stock rotation, stocking new arrivals, and conducting regular stock checks to ensure product freshness and availability.Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards while assisting with general gardening or landscape maintenance tasks as needed.Requirements Proven experience or strong interest in floral design, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance.Familiarity with retail operations including POS systems, retail math, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively.Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently and maintain an inviting store environment.Ability to stand for extended periods while performing physical tasks such as lifting flowers or plants safely.Knowledge of floral care techniques, plant health maintenance, and basic lawn care is advantageous.A friendly attitude combined with excellent customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences.Embark on a rewarding journey where your creativity meets exceptional service!
