Job Title:Flower Order Entry and Shop Support Job Summary:Ashland Addison Florist, a well-established family owned floral business is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Flower Order Entry and Support Coordinator to join our high-volume Lofendo Flowers location.This location specializes in creating beautiful funeral/sympathy floral arrangements that bring comfort and peace to our clients during both joyful and somber occasions.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations related to flower orders, customer communications, and shop maintenance.This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-friendly attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Process flower orders by entering details accurately into the system.Print ribbons for flower orders, ensuring all orders are completed with the correct labeling.Contact customers in a timely manner to gather obituary information, confirm order details, and address any queries via phone as needed.Answer phones as needed.Assist with delivery logistics in MAS system (making trips, checking trips in and out, etc) Submit flower orders via email Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including sweeping, disposing of garbage, and cleaning the bathroom when necessary.Assist in cleaning flowers, becoming familiar with cut flower products and ensure quality standards are met.Occasionally pick up flowers from wholesalers (e.g., Kennicott Bros.) as needed.Handle emergency deliveries of flowers or corrected ribbons when required.Support inventory management by assisting with tracking and organizing hardware goods, Teleflora products, and plants, etc.Other duties as required to support shop operations Job Type:Full-time Pay:$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Experience:Customer service:1 year (Required) Ability to Commute:Wood Dale, IL 60191 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Wood Dale, IL 60191:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
