Fluids Systems Engineer

Location: Palmdale, CA Salary: $80.00 USD Hourly - $105.00 USD Hourly Description: Position: Fluids Systems Engineer Location: Palmdale, CA About the Role Position will primarily focus on aircraft fuel systems , and the other on hydraulic systems . Candidates with experience across both disciplines are highly encouraged to apply. This is a part-time contract role (minimum 20 hours per week) with the potential to increase to full-time hours during peak program activity. Responsibilities Support the design, analysis, integration, and troubleshooting of aircraft fuel and/or hydraulic systems Provide hands-on engineering support during ground test and flight test activities Review, analyze, and help resolve system anomalies Participate in real-time test operations as required Collaborate with integrated test teams across multiple disciplines and locations Support test planning, execution, and post-test evaluations Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of direct experience with aircraft fuel systems, hydraulic systems, or both 5+ years of experience working with fluid system components, schematics, and test procedures Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and system documentation Preferred Qualifications Experience in a flight test environment , test laboratory, or flight test control room Experience supporting military, experimental, or advanced aircraft programs Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, test-driven environments By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
