About This Role: The Budget Administrator provides comprehensive financial and budgetary support to ensure effective planning, monitoring, and management of organizational resources. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and reporting requirements. The Budget Administrator serves as a trusted financial partner to service coordinators and stakeholders by delivering accurate information and actionable insights. What You Will Do: Assist families to maintain fiscal responsibility in accordance with program guidelines. Apply strong budgeting skills to assist families throughout service planning. Review and process pay rate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to DHS policies and applicable wage laws. Perform audits and reporting activities related to families service planning, to ensure data integrity, compliance and effective financial oversight. Ability to meet metrics and key performance indicators as applicable to department benchmarks. Provide timely, professional support, and communication to internal and external stakeholders. Acts with integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information. Requirements: Associate's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience or similar education and experience required. Experience working with Waivered Services is a plus. Intermediate computer skills including internal office and organizational software (MS Office), and the ability to gain proficiency with Accra specific systems. Demonstrates creativity, critical thinking, effective problem-solving, and strong emotional intelligence. Ability to communicate challenging or complex concepts clearly and effectively by phone and through electronic communication. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies. High attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
