About Kimball’s Kimball’s California Bistro is a new California fusion restaurant located in the historic former post office building in Downtown Hemet. Our concept blends elevated comfort food, global flavors, craft beer, wine, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails in a high-energy but approachable atmosphere. We are looking for a hospitality professional with a strong food & beverage background who can help lead the front of house while elevating our beer and cocktail program. This is a leadership role for someone who understands hospitality, beverage culture, and guest experience at a high level. Position Summary The FOH Lead / Food & Beverage Ambassador will help oversee daily front-of-house operations while serving as a key leader in beverage knowledge, cocktail development, and guest engagement. This role will work closely with ownership on: Craft beer selection and education Cocktail program development Staff training Guest experience Service standards Front-of-house leadership We are especially interested in candidates with brewery, craft beer, cocktail bar, or elevated hospitality experience. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest service Lead FOH operations during service Help create and maintain a strong hospitality culture Assist in cocktail menu development and seasonal specials Maintain strong knowledge of beer styles, breweries, spirits, and cocktails Educate guests and staff on food and beverage pairings Train FOH team members on service and beverage knowledge Assist with opening/closing procedures and floor management Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Help maintain cleanliness, professionalism, and organization Preferred Qualifications Strong background in craft beer and cocktail programs Brewery, taproom, cocktail bar, or elevated restaurant experience strongly preferred Experience developing cocktails and beverage menus Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Professional appearance and attitude Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation and dependable attendance What We’re Looking For We want someone who Is passionate about hospitality and beverage culture Can confidently talk beer, cocktails, spirits, and pairings with guests Brings positive energy and leadership to the team Understands how to build regular clientele and guest loyalty Leads by example and works well under pressure Wants to help shape the culture and identity of a new restaurant concept Bonus points for: Brewery or taproom experience Craft cocktail experience Bar management experience Social media or event promotion experience Local industry relationships Perks Opportunity to help build a new restaurant from the ground up Creative input on beer and cocktail programs Growth opportunities within expanding concepts Employee meals and discounts Supportive ownership team Potential performance incentives Pay: From $20.00 per hour License/Certification Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (Required) Work Location: In person
