FOH - Servers/Host/Expo/Bartender

We have a few positions available at Afuri Izakaya in SE Portland. We are an Izakaya with roots in Japan, known for our ramen and sushi. Candidates with a focus on hospitality, working as a team, staying focused, disciplined, and attention to detail will be considered. Afuri operates on a tip pool amongst the staff therefore working as a team, staying active and supporting each other in the dining room is key to a successful service for us. We are hoping for the following additions to our team - x1 Lunch server - this position would be Mon-Thu, with shifts approximately from 10:30am-3:00pm, with the option to fill in on nights/weekends. Our lunch services have been picking up and we are hoping to add a strong presence to the floor as these shifts are ran with a smaller dedicated team. x1 Dinner server - this position is best suited for someone with a flexible schedule who is also interested in cross-training on Host or Expo. This is a great opportunity to learn multiple roles and understand why each one is important, this is a great position for someone who appreciates being a jack-of-all trades in the industry. Bar experience would be a huge plus as well. More cross-training would directly lead to more hours available. Active FH and OLCC required.
