Food and Beverage Server

We have a great Full-Time opportunity for an Experienced Professional to join our team! Flexible, OPEN schedule is required, and WEEKEND availability is a must. We are offering $15/hr + Tips$$$ (average of $10+/hr) = $25+ / hour Our employees are responsible for providing outstanding customer service across multiple platforms. - Responsibilities include being able to take Cafe orders, cashier, run food, bus tables and to make our cocktail bar drinks. Opera House C.A.F.E. provides a variety of services, so the ability to multi-task is a must. Our staff is required to be available for high traffic and holiday weekends throughout the year, as well as regular events. Our proximity to the City Market and our positioning on a Streetcar stop necessitate quick, reliable service for as many customers as we can handle. The ideal candidate is able to Self-Manage and work well in an employee empowered environment. You will be skilled at multi-tasking which will enable you to take orders, expedite, and bus for food service, and maintain the dinning area. *Some Bartending experience is Preferred. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with experience in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Experience with upselling and sales techniques Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus Basic understanding of food preparation and sanitation practices Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities Prior experience in bartending would be beneficial Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Paid training Work Location: In person
