Job title Food Assembly Helper/Tray Setter Reports to Food Assembly Lead or Food Assembly Supervisor Position Purpose:Assembles food items including tray settings as per instructions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES EXAMPLE OF DUTIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Average Percent of Time 75 % Assemble food items including tray setup.Follow airline specifications which usually include tray setting for hot meals, cold meals, salad, snacks, bread, butter, and condiments) 10 % Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team 5 % Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Positions directly reporting to this position:N/A QUALIFICATIONS Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.Proactive and self-organized Ability to manage through a substantial workload Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines Flexibility (different shifts days, nights, weekends, holidays) Education & Experience Must be able to read, write and handle multiple food products (fish, beef, pork, poultry and other food products).
