About This Role This job is perfect for someone who's organized, quick-thinking, and wants to be a key part of delivering amazing food to our community.You'll be in charge of reading order tickets, making sure the correct items are ready, and packing everything in a clean and accurate way.You'll also memorize which add-ons go with which meals (like beans, rice, tortillas, and salsa).This isn't just about packing bags--it's about making sure every order is just right, and every customer gets what they came for.Key Responsibilities Order Packing & Organization Read printed or digital order tickets carefully.Confirm that all items (entrees, sides, and drinks) are ready to go before packing.Memorize which menu items come with which extras (e.g., rice & beans, tortillas, salsa).Neatly pack food for pickup or delivery, double-checking accuracy.Label bags clearly (especially for common names--ask for last names if needed).Use your eyes and your brain--spot missing items, double orders, or duplicates before they go out.Kitchen & Staff Communication Work side-by-side with kitchen staff to call out missing items.Communicate when orders are delayed or when customers need updates.Let Marcy know if anything seems off (duplicate orders, unclear tickets, unusual requests).Customer Interaction (Light) Help match customers with their order if they forget the name or items.Greet customers with a quick smile when they pick up.Be proactive and polite--What did you order tonight? can go a long way in solving confusion.Cleanliness & Station Maintenance Keep the packing station clean and organized at all times.Wipe down surfaces regularly, clean containers and shelves as needed.Reset the station at the end of the shift--restock bags, napkins, utensils, etc.What Makes You Great for This Role You're detail-oriented and don't let little things slide.You can memorize common combos quickly (like what goes with a burrito vs an order of tacos).You work well under pressure during busy dinner rushes.You stay calm, focused, and communicate clearly with teammates.You care about making customers happy, even if you're not always face-to-face with them.What We Offer A supportive, family-style team.Discounted meals (you'll know the menu well!).Growth potential--learn more about the kitchen, catering, or customer service.Flexible schedule options.A chance to be part of a purpose-driven, local business.Qualifications Must be organized, focused, and dependable.Good memory and quick-thinking during rush hours.Able to stand and move around for a few hours at a time.Comfortable speaking up if something's missing or wrong.Customer service experience is a bonus, but not required.To Apply:Stop in, send us a message, or email your interest.We're excited to meet you and see how you can grow with us!
