Food Production Associates - Multiple Openings (Temp-to-Hire) Kettle Tender Production Line Worker Sanitation Worker Prep Cook Multiple shifts available Position Summary We are hiring multiple Food Production Associates for a fast-paced food manufacturing plant.Openings are available across several departments, including Kettle Operations, Production Line, Sanitation, and Food Prep.These roles support the safe preparation, cooking, plating, and packaging of food products in a temperature-controlled environment.Associates must be able to work efficiently on their feet while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.Available Positions & General Duties Kettle Tender Prepare and cook large-batch food products using industrial kettles Measure and add ingredients according to production recipes Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and product quality Record production data and follow food safety guidelines Production Line Worker Plate, assemble, or package food items as they move along a conveyor line Maintain line speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ensure quality and consistency of finished products Prep Cook Prepare ingredients including chopping, measuring, weighing, and portioning Follow standardized recipes and production schedules Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas Sanitation Worker Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and work areas Follow GMPs, food safety, and sanitation protocols Support plant cleanliness during and/or after production shifts General Responsibilities (All Roles) Adhere to strict food safety, quality, and sanitation (GMP) standards Maintain productivity and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Work in refrigerated and/or warm environments (approximately 34-40 F in cold areas) Follow all SOPs and food safety programs for assigned department Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members Required Skills & Experience Must be at least 18 years old Ability to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs depending on role) Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Ability to read and follow written production or work instructions Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check Preferred Skills & Experience Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or kitchen environments Experience working on a production line Comfort working in refrigerated or variable temperature environments Physical Requirements Frequent standing, reaching, handling, and use of hands and arms Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift Visual ability including depth perception and focus adjustment Ability to work in cold and/or hot environments These positions are temporary with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance, attendance, and business needs.Permanent employees may become eligible for additional benefits and long-term growth opportunities.#INDJen.
