Job Description
Paragon International, a leading U.S.manufacturer of concession and restaurant equipment, is currently seeking a Food Production Worker to join our team.The primary responsibilities for this role include the preparation and packaging of syrups, salts, and sugars.Additionally, the role will also require helping sub assembly and shipping as needed.We invite you to apply and become part of an organization dedicated to manufacturing fun! Please find the detailed list of essential functions and qualifications for the Food Processor position below:Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, adhering to safety protocols.Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products, primarily snow cone syrups, following standardized recipes and procedures.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.Monitor production to ensure consistent quality, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.Follow FDA regulations and food safety guidelines to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements.Conduct basic math calculations for portioning, weighing, or measuring ingredients accurately.Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues or perform routine maintenance when needed.Assist with inventory management, including packaging materials and finished product storage.Assist with Assembly and Shipping department as needed.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Ability to lift 20-30 lbs.Manual dexterity for operating tools, cutting, and running machinery or computers.Experience Previous experience working in a food processing plant or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and sanitation standards is highly desirable.Familiarity with food safety practices and quality control processes is beneficial.Mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment maintenance can be an advantage.Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and quality checks are essential.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues.Join us today to help produce safe, high-quality foods that delight consumers nationwide!
