Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food Runner Busser/Server Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience! In this vital role, you will support our servers by delivering food promptly, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment, and assisting with food and beverage service. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will help ensure our guests enjoy seamless, memorable service from start to finish. Duties Deliver hot and cold food orders efficiently from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables quickly and thoroughly to maintain a clean, inviting dining area. Assist servers with food preparation tasks such as garnishing dishes or refilling condiments to support timely service. Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware while maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and processing when needed. Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Maintain open communication with team members to coordinate service flow smoothly during busy periods. Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and sanitation practices at all times. Assist with setup for banquets or special events, including arranging tables and serving stations as required. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food handling, serving techniques, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of banquet service or hotel hospitality operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for delivering excellent guest services. Prior bussing or kitchen experience demonstrates versatility and readiness to support various operational needs. A background in culinary arts or hospitality training can provide valuable insight into food safety and customer care standards.
