Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team.The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to work seamlessly within a fast-paced hospitality environment.Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued.Duties Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests' tables in a timely and professional manner Assist servers with clearing and bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and efficiency Ensure all food items are presented attractively and adhere to quality standards Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks when needed Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order accuracy and guest billing Uphold food safety standards throughout all aspects of service Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest service and hospitality Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet settings is highly desirable Familiarity with food handling, serving, and basic food preparation techniques Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred Knowledge of food safety protocols and guest service best practices Prior kitchen or culinary experience, including cooking or catering, is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous for understanding guest services and guest interactions Job Type:Part-time Pay:$13.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours:25 per week Work Location:In person.
