Duties Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing under chef supervision Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and resetting stations Support servers by delivering beverages, utensils, or additional orders promptly Ensure food safety protocols are followed during delivery and handling processes Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests Help uphold a welcoming environment by providing friendly guest interactions and responding to their needs promptly Requirements Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably Experience with banquet service, delivery driving, or hotel operations is advantageous Basic knife skills, food preparation knowledge, or culinary experience can enhance performance in this role Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry by becoming a Food Runner!
