Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Server, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system - TOAST Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement. Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure guest health and satisfaction. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness throughout their visit. Clear tables, bus tables (bussing), and assist with processing to go orders. Handle cash transactions accurately through TOAST. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service contributing to a lively yet professional atmosphere. Experience Prior restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in food service environments with a minimum of 1 year experience with breakfast required. Knowledge of vegan food is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering. Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality roles that involve serving guests in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Ability to upsell menu items effectively through sales techniques that enhance guest experience without pressure. Join us in delivering exceptional hospitality where every detail matters!
