Overview We are a Japanese-style family-owned restaurant looking to fill in a couple spots on our team for a server/cashier. You’ll serve food, handle transactions efficiently, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Whether you’re taking orders or managing the cash register, your positive attitude and attention to detail will drive our success. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and ensuring clear communication with the kitchen team Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; process payments efficiently while providing excellent guest service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling procedures Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster guest relations Prior experience in serving, bussing tables, or as a host/hostess is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and nights as needed Reliable transportation preferred Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits Food provided Work Location: In person
