Food Service Worker

Position:Food Service Technician Nature of Work:Work involves cooking meals for juveniles and staff and cleaning kitchen.Line of Supervision:Directly responsible to the Food Service Manager.Shift Times:5:30am-1:30pm or 10am-6pm Duties and Responsibilities:The Food Technician will be responsible for the following:1.Be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving meals for residents and employees.2.Keep daily records of meals served and take inventory of supplies and equipment.3.Be responsible for cleaning kitchen and all kitchen equipment and any other food service items when needed.4.Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper functional operations.5.Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager or Director.Qualifications:Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent certificate with considerable experience in food preparation.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$13.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
