Osmose Utilities Services Inc. is a 90-year strong company that provides a variety of services to the electric and telecommunications industries. Summary of position: Osmose Foremen Apprentice I are responsible for learning the inspection, maintenance, and restoration process of utility infrastructure. They are also responsible for applying the knowledge learned live in the field with a dedicated training Foreman. This position is strictly performed on a training crew. Responsibilities: Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment. Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals. Complete online learning courses as assigned. Requirements: Must be at least 19 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Possess leadership qualities to effectively supervise and motivate a working field crew. Assume full responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools. Must Possess a Valid Driver's License, with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Ability to positively represent the Osmose organization to customers and the communities in which they work. Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather and have the desire to actively participate in physically demanding work lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Willing to travel locally, statewide or regionally as required. We are proud to offer: Paid on-the-job training! You earn while you learn at a rate of $23 per hour. $25 daily Per Diem - TAX FREE (must be working 60+ miles from home and work min. of 40hrs per week to qualify) Full-time, year-round employment with overtime potential.
