Job Description
CYTRIC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Foreman to lead field operations across electrical, mechanical, plumbing (MEP), and general construction projects, with a strong focus on breaker testing and power system maintenance. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise field crews performing electrical breaker testing, maintenance, and installation Oversee execution of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general construction work scopes Coordinate daily job site activities, manpower, materials, and equipment Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide field execution Perform and oversee breaker testing, troubleshooting, and reporting (low and medium voltage systems) Ensure all work complies with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and project-specific requirements Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and enforce site safety practices Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and test records Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or rework Ensure quality control and proper installation practices across all trades Support commissioning, startup, and final project closeout activities Qualifications Minimum 5–10 years of experience in electrical construction and maintenance, with foreman or supervisory experience Strong hands-on experience with breaker testing (LV/MV), switchgear, and power distribution systems Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and general construction practices Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and construction drawings Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures (e.g., insulation resistance, contact resistance, trip testing) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills OSHA 30 certification preferred Valid driver’s license required Preferred Skills Experience with SCADA, control systems, or industrial environments Knowledge of commissioning procedures and reporting Experience working on government or mission-critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, data centers) Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors efficiently Work Environment Field-based role with work at construction sites, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings May require night work, weekend shifts, or outage coordination Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments Pay: From $88,000.00 per year Benefits Flexible schedule Ability to Commute Bethesda, MD 20892 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
