Forestry Machine Operator Truck/trailer Driver Removal Team Member Founded in 2005, TSH Tree Service is the premier residential tree care company in Breckenridge, Colorado.We proudly serve the Summit County community by providing high-quality valuable tree care, including hazard fuels reduction, plant healthcare, and smaller forestry and silviculture projects.TSH MISSION:TSH Tree Service strives daily to prioritize safety and effectiveness of our team, provide a high quality and valuable tree care experience to our community, while supporting a healthy, safe forest, and excellent customer satisfaction.TSH Tree Service is hiring a forestry machine operator responsible to haul and operate our Cat 259 with Ryan's Grapple and Giant 1200 loader with grapple, and be a member of our tree removal team.Compensation and Benefits:$24-$34 per hour based on qualifications, certifications, experience, roles, and additional tree technician skillset In season bonuses End of season bonus based on team performance Sick pay Paid time off SIMPLE (IRA) contribution Tuition / certificate reimbursement Company sponsored team day, meals, and incentives Shared expectations of TSH team members TSH Tree Service team members work to communicate with all other team members in order to uphold the TSH Mission.All team members are expected to:Come to work with a positive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and to share experience as part of the entire TSH team Display a high level of professionalism and respect, both inter-company as well as with clients and partners Uphold and support all of TSH Safety Program and Procedures Respond to emails and all forms of TSH communications in a timely manner Roles and expectations of a Forestry Skid Steer Operator Operate operate our Cat 259 with Ryan's Grapple and Giant 1200 loader with grapple in removal applications Strive to continually prioritize safely moving material efficiently while balancing impact to property and wear and tear on machinery involved Work with Team Coordinator and all team members for efficient removal workflow and appropriate impact and clean up Perform hand tree work out of the machine with removal technicians as needed including dragging brush carrying logs and saw operations Perform Cat 259/Ryan's grapple steer and Giant loader maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly) as needed Monitor and maintain CAT and Giant recommended maintenance schedule.Notify of any additional wear and tear items and schedule maintenance or repairs Support team safety during machine operation and training and coordinating safe work practices with crew members and crew leaders Load and unload the skid steer under CDOT requirements, industry best practices and TSH Tree Service protocol Display mechanical aptitude to prevent safety issues and wear and tear/damage Work with our Team Coordinators to operate machine on job sites for effective workflow Additional roles may include the Fleet Manager position, which will include additional compensation Qualifications:Must be eligible to work in the United States Valid US Driver's License, Class A CDL Required Skills and Experience:Operator 1 1 year of experience with skid steer operation, preferably in tree service / forestry profession.Or 2 years with similar or larger machines Ability to safely load tie down and unload machines and drive truck and trailer Operator 2 2 years prior professional similar forestry/tree industry skid steer with grapple operation 2 years professional tree service or forestry experience with additional general Tree Technician skills Preferred Licensing:Maintain a valid Class A CDL - required within the first month of employment Commitment dates and schedule:Our full time seasonal commitment runs from May 1 through October 31st.Our teams usually work four 10s (Monday - Thursday) and are flexible.We pay overtime.There is some degree of flexible work from April 1 through November 30.We have some on-call flexible winter storm work paid out at time and a half from December through March.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$24.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Compensation Package:Bonus opportunities Commission pay Hourly pay Overtime pay Performance bonus Profit sharing Tips Yearly bonus Experience:machine operation:1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:US Driver's License (Required) CDL A (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Breckenridge, CO 80424 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Breckenridge, CO 80424:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
