Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team.In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment safely, and supporting our warehouse distribution processes.Your expertise in forklift operation and materials handling will ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory management, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management and heavy equipment operation within a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Safely operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Perform order picking using specialized equipment Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) entries to track inventory movements and maintain accurate stock levels Conduct routine equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure all forklifts and heavy machinery are in optimal working condition Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting loads, and ensuring proper documentation compliance with OSHA standards Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations, practicing proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting tasks, and participating in safety training sessions Skills Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo's, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshoot operational issues Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling Excellent understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols Ability to perform basic math calculations essential for inventory counts, load measurements, and documentation accuracy Previous experience in warehouse supervision or team coordination is a plus but not required Join us as a Forklift Operator and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
