Forklift Operator Hyde Park, UT Nexeo HR is seeking a careful and reliable Forklift Operator to help move materials and packages throughout a manufacturing facility in Hyde Park, UT.In this role, you will operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, stage materials for production jobs, and transport raw materials throughout the shop and yard.When forklift tasks are completed, you will also assist with yard organization, production support, and other shop needs to help maintain efficiency across operations.The ideal candidate has strong safety awareness, excellent navigation skills when operating industrial vehicles, and the ability to stay organized while working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Operate a forklift safely to move materials and packages throughout the facility Load and unload materials and merchandise from incoming and outgoing vehicles Stage materials for production jobs and organize inventory in the yard Locate and transport stock, pallets, crates, and products for storage or shipment Identify damaged materials, verify quantities, and report shortages or quality concerns Assist shipping and receiving with packaging product for delivery Work with area supervisors to rotate and move items throughout the shop Transport raw materials to production workstations Perform pre-shift maintenance inspections of equipment Assist with vehicle inspections and arrange maintenance when needed Refuel equipment and ensure vehicles remain clean and ready for use Maintain yard cleanliness and organization Assist with assembly when needed Serve as a backup for shipping/receiving clerk duties when necessary Serve as a backup driver when needed Qualifications Strong commitment to workplace safety Excellent navigational skills when operating industrial vehicles Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong time management and organizational abilities Ability to manage paperwork and documentation accurately Physical Requirements Frequently move and transport materials weighing up to 100 pounds Constantly position self to locate and move materials Occasionally climb on and off trucks while loading and unloading Ability to communicate clearly and exchange information with coworkers Ability to observe details at close range for safety and accuracy Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions Pay $18.00 per hour Schedule Full Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay Rate $18.00 - $18.00 per hour Schedule Full Time Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Nexeo Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Limited Life, Short-Term Disability Refer a Friend Bonus Other Financial Incentives (Bonuses) Weekly Pay Direct Deposit Rapid Pay Card Social Media Giveaway (Amazon gift cards, etc.) Employee of the Month Hassle-Free Job Search:A Nexeo Recruiter is always available to assist you.Questions?
