About the Role The Fractional CFO will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to guide financial strategy, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable growth. Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Build and maintain financial models that support strategic decisions, pricing, and long‑term growth planning. Oversee cash flow management, scenario planning, and capital allocation to ensure financial stability. Strengthen financial controls, accounting processes, and monthly close discipline. Provide investor‑grade reporting, board materials, and insights that translate financial data into clear business actions. Support fundraising strategy, investor relations, and due‑diligence preparation when needed. Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to evaluate performance, optimize spend, and improve margins. Implement or refine financial systems, automation, and dashboards to improve visibility and efficiency. Advise on SaaS pricing strategy, contract terms, and revenue recognition best practices. Mentor internal finance staff or help build the finance function as the company scales. Qualifications Proven experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader within a SaaS or subscription‑based business. Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, and subscription forecasting. Strong modeling, analytical, and strategic planning skills. Experience supporting fundraising and investor relations is a strong plus. Ability to operate hands‑on in a fast‑moving, resource‑lean environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional leaders.
