Role overview We’re seeking experienced, hands‑on fractional COOs with experience providing strategic operational leadership. We currently have a role open that is focused on fertility/ART who can help to improve clinical and lab processes, and support scaling across one or more clinics. General Core responsibilities Provide strategic leadership as part of the executive team, working hand in hand with founders Conduct rapid operational assessments of existing team, processes, and systems to determine best way to address critical need with an eye towards scaling Provide interim leadership and mentorship to operating teams Establish and monitor key KPIs Advise on P&L, budgeting, revenue cycle improvements, and other key financial metrics Required experience & qualifications 2+ years experience in the c-suite at venture backed companies or VP level at larger companies Experience with in a fractional or part time role strongly preferred Strong financial/operational acumen; comfortable with P&L oversight and KPI-driven engagements Comfortable in an ambigous high growth environment Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills. For this particular role: 5+ years senior operations experience, with direct exposure to fertility/reproductive medicine or a closely related specialty (ART, IVF centers, reproductive labs) Compensation & structure Competitive monthly retainer based on scope (typical range tied to hours/month) Contract length and renewal options flexible
